Champ Camp for Kids with Asthma

Is your child between the ages of 8-12 with moderate to severe asthma? We encourage you to apply for our Champ Camp for Kids with Asthma program. Please check back next Spring for 2009 CCKA information.  

Camp Activities

 

Campers participate in a wide variety of fun activities throughout the week. Here is a sample of the activities offered.

Champ Campers Master Skills To Control Their Asthma

Champ Campers participate in daily one hour Learning Labs where they increase their knowledge and build skills to manage asthma through fun, interactive, hands-on learning activities with other children living with asthma. Learning Labs are designed to increase children’s confidence in managing their asthma while leading an active life.

Kids With Asthma Experience The Fun & Excitement of Summer Camp

At the American Lung Association of Vermont’s Champ Camp For Kids With Asthma, 8 to 12 year olds experience the excitement and fun of a week long co-ed summer camp in a safe, medically supervised. Our campers are mainstreamed with other campers and participate in camp recreational activities.  

 

A Whole Lot Of Fun & 24 Hour Medical Services Too

Champ Camp For Kids With Asthma is designed for children with moderate to severe asthma as determined by our volunteer medical leadership team.
